Information for Speakers

Full Papers are 20 minutes long with 10 minutes for discussion.

Work-in Progress Reports are 10 minutes long with 5 minutes for discussion.

Software Demonstrations are 20 minutes long including discussion.

Posters are for work in progress, or research suited to visual presentation of data (in charts, graphs, or tables). The maximum size of a poster is ISO A0 (841 x 1189mm or 33 x 46in) and all posters should be vertically oriented (portrait). Time will be designated in the programme for presenters to discuss their posters.

Speakers wishing to distribute handouts should bring 50-60 copies (140-150 copies for plenary speakers). Photocopying facilities are available at the Falcon hotel, at a cost of 10p per sheet.

All three lecture rooms are equipped with overhead projectors, data projectors and laptop computers running MS PowerPoint. A period of time will be designated before the morning and afternoon sessions for uploading PowerPoint files to the computers. Speakers can use their own laptop computers if necessary, but please be aware that you are responsible for getting your own equipment to work with the data projectors on site.

Internet Access
Wireless internet access is available in the conference rooms and hotel lounge area. Sockets for wired internet access are also available in the conference rooms.
